Bought a house, it came with a Monza

Postby NarcolepticSloth » Sun Sep 06, 2020 8:34 am

Hello everyone,
Closed on my first home last year and finally got around to looking in the woods. Found an old car COVERED in thorns and brush. After cleaning it all out, it appears to be a 1980 Monza Spyder. Thats really all the info I have so far.
A buddy happens to have a FSM and is shipping it my way.

Hope to figure out if this thing is worth fixing up or not. Once I get it out of the woods.

Look forward to learning from all of you.
I welcome any info you can share.

Before doing any work other than cleaning, check the condition of the chassis, attachment points of suspension.

There will be work here on an abandoned car but decide how far you are willing to go. Harry, edit

And also make sure you can get a clear title to the car as well, this has a different set of rules every state, province, etc.
Some are quite easy I understand, others "Not So Much" and the rules change with time too. And of course welcome aboard!
