Here is 8" wide slick pulling the front tires...I do not think MOST need to do it for drag racing.... For looks I like it.
this is with a destroked 430 hp SBC 377 with 5000 stall leaving at 3400 chip 26 x 8" mickey Thompson slicks

So this is 10.50 car But it is ladder bar rear suspension just incase your trying to pull them with stock torque arm rear...lol

406 716 Hp 708 FT LBS torque going in soon and I think these 8" slicks are not going to make it ... :( Yes I will be in the tub rear too soon.... BUT I am going to try to see how much 8" 26" tall slicks CAN HANDLE...Soon.
Oh and this is a 10 bolt 8.5 S10 Full spooled rear 3.90 gear rear

jim 406 cu in 716 HP sounds like you are using juice.. i run a 377 (aprox 600 HP and a 383 (aprox 650HP) and no juice((950 holley on each) and the 377 revs different for sure than the 383. love both engines, but the 383 is the obvious winner. like your car and choice on engines art in NY

No JUICE? I have never used NOS on any motor yet. Got a NEW guy building my motors...

We were shooting for 600 - That is not even ported heads.
Stock gasket matched Dart Pro 1 hears 215 runners and 2.05 IN valve with 1.60 ex. Valve
Victor Jr.
850 carb (brawler Carb) or something like that...Out of the box only did 82 and 82 jetting No Power valve as we drag race only
MSD old school 6AL ... not even digital

We dynoed it again a week later after squaring up the jets and ran 730 hp but lost about 3-4 Foot Lbs over all... ??? I di dnot get those sent over to me yet to post
Remember this is a DRAG race motor not for the street. Jim
