Does anyone know anyone that wants to buy an original Monza that needs minor work and TLC? I have all original paperwork including window sticker. Thanks. Andrea

Sorry it has taken so long. I have been unable to
get onto Yahoo. I still have it for sale. I have
$1500 on it. I am in Portland OR. If you would like to
see pictures, send me your e-mail. It needs work, but
the engine has ALWAYS been strong. I was with my
father when we bought it off the show room floor. I
still remember it going in circles. We recently
replaced the fuel filter. That didn't solve the problem.
There is a hole in the fuel line. Have to drop the tank
again to fix. Have been unable to do this because it
has been so cold and it is in our backyard. I have
all the original paperwork including the window
sticker. It is and original Mirage. I get confused by some
of these postings though. There were approx. 4300
real mirages made. There are approx. 500 original left
on the road. These postings talk about only 900
being made, or different engines and other stuff. I
wonder if some of these people really know what a real
mirage is. Anyways, to get on with it. The car does need
a paint job. It has some surface rust from sitting
outside all of these years. Interior is in what I would
call excellent shape. Only rips are in the driver
seat. Easily fixed with upholstery fixer. All original
carpet, sunvisors, etc. Only major repair I know of is
the catylic converter was relaced while it was still
under warranty. I would love to keep it for myself, but
when dad passed away, I inherited 5 Corvairs. Kept
only 1 that was stored for 26+ years. Just don't have
enough money and time to keep and repair them all. Let
me know if you need anymore info.

I'd like to see pic's.
klwallace@rio.com.

I've got one mirage now (needs complete resto) along
with 2 other monzas. I Wouldn't mind trying to
convince the wife that I "need"
another.

Thanks,

Kent
