Interesting fix, guys. I've literally dug through the phpBB forums without a solid answer. My guess is it still remains an Internet Explorer issue as I've never had it on Chrome/Firefox/Safari. :th:

i believe the problem lies in what version of windows you are running, i have vista home and have no problems, at my job they had office pro or what ever the buisness version was and i had dark screen when viewing the site there.

When ever you have issues viewing a site with Internet Explorer Version 9 or higher, you can use the browser mode options provided in the console(F12). This is more of a advanced tool so it is not for everyone but can help you get what you need.

Open Internet Explorer -> browse to site having issues -> Press 'F12' button on keyboard -> use a previous browser mode. (I go in reverse order 8,7) -> after you have selected a different browser mode it will refresh the page, hopefully fixing the issue.

Remember to set the setting back to default when you are done. Or else all sites will be viewed with this earlier mode.

Hope this helps,
Taylor.
