I had them build a 4-link style 9” in 2018 or so. I also sent them my stock housing for reference, and they built everything based on that. Sounds like they’ve done a few of these now and should still have the jig, but who knows? Fitment was perfect. Probably the least hassle of anything I’ve installed on this car. I’ve had no issues with the rearend itself running ~500hp with sticky tires on the track and the street. It likes to spray a little diff fluid out the vent, but I think that’s an issue with 9” rearends in general.
I don’t remember how long the wait was, but I don’t remember it being unreasonable. I was in the process of building the rest of the car and wasn’t in a huge hurry. Probably depends on what their workload is at a given time. They’re getting to be pretty well known, so I’m sure they get slammed during the “fix the racecar” season.
If I was going to order another one, I would ask them to build the upper mounts higher similar to the motion “no-hop” conversion. This allows for the use of straight control arms, and eliminates wheel hop. I welded in some extension brackets later after I broke a set of the bent control arms. It launches way better now.
