I thought I posted here, but a quick look back shows how bad my memory is getting. I'm still a frequent(ish) visitor, and will be for some time to come God willing! My first H-Body was purchased in Feb of 1982 [1976, 262 hatch back Monza] had at least one ever since (I wanted one back to the very beginning but I was only 11 when they came out so well, that was a problem). I'm still here, just been lurking this year. My project is on hold till next year, got involved in frame up build of an '80 K30 for my next plow/work truck. Going to be frankenchevy, got a FF corporate 14 SRT with a trutrac, dana 60 front, 454 one piece rear converted to carb, bullet proof TH400 I've been building to a 205 I just rebuilt with an '89 C30 I modified to fit, an '86 GMC front clip from a diesel 'burb, 11 spring pack for the back with block and 3" springs for the front with 37's for rollers, then to finish the back, making a flat bed with lower side boxes and a headache rack that I'm piping the stacks up through. Just at the point of blasting the frame and painting next weekend...no way I'm getting this done before winter though, took most of the year gathering all the parts I needed by stripping 2 parts trucks down, lol. Little Monza will finally have it's day starting around March next year.

Hey Mark, glad to see you again! (Online, lol).

I just sold my blue '73 last week. I still have a viable '72 Kammback project, so I'm still lurking but not posting (except the last pics/video of the blue '73 Hatchback.
Its been a great ride.... miss it already.

Hello Dwight, Glade to be back. I have been lurking here for a few months seeing what's going on. Things are slow here, that's sad to see. I'm glade to see you are still into the vega scene. I didn't post here for awhile just to make sure i was putting this one together LOL. I'm 75% complete on this car and on the way to just finish is it over the next few months. Maybe we can meet in Pigeon Forge next year?

Phil really glad to see you back on the site. have not heard from you in many months. art in NY

Thanks Art,
Health issues, ect and as I always mention life just gets in the way. Not to worry I'm back at it. Infact I'm looking for a mostly stock H-Body survivor to purchase as my Daily driver If anyone has one for sale? It certainly doesn't have to be perfect because I realize these cars are 40+ in age but it does have to be in decent running condition.

Hope all is well with you... I see Facebook seems to be getting more, and more popular. That's a good sign.

I pop in and read posts every now & then. But not like I used too. When I was restoring my 77 my brain was here 24/7
I for sure need to check in more often. Lots of new users over the years & many of the familiar "faces" on this thread :)

You want an answer to a question…go to a social media site, fast response and lots of answers, some right, some wrong and some just plain stupid! Want a good response that is usually right or at least had some thought put into it, check this forum. I belong to both (social and forums) and generally I just read the social media sites, can’t be bothered to answer some of the ridiculous questions on those sites. I will go out of my way to help someone on this site and have had other members on this site go way out of there way to help me.

I bought a 86 Camaro a few years ago. I switched over to all that. I'm happy there are people still coming here to check it out. When ever a new Vega person asked a question, I tend to send them here.
The only Vega's that only had a little rust were the ones still on the assembly line.
