I agree I think this site is awesome and a wealth of information. I check the site just about every day. I wish I had more to post but my Monza build is on hold until I get some of my wife’s “honey do list” done.

I try to cross-pollinate and mention this forum in my youtube videos and facebook/insta posts. People have forgotten about the forums. Photobucket is a big thing to overcome, but there is no real substitute for good solid information.

Times change...

I have checked out a number of H-Body sites on Facebook and none impress me much and at times just one big bore. Bla, Bla, bla and such but nothing that hasn't been covered here a dozen times over. You're welcome to take this with a grain of salt, but if you are serious about the H-Body platform the Keys to The Kingdom are right here within the pages of this forum. You really can't blame Facebook totally because H-Body cars are simply slipping into myth and less popular for gear heads almost by the day.

I really hope over time people come back to the traditional forums.
So much more stored information than FB has.

When PUTC lost it's forums it became useless.

 I've been checking in quite often and plan to stay here! Not a FB fan and don't plan to start now. It's hard to beat all the information that this site has compiled. Haven't even checked FB. And don't plan on it.

FB is good for connecting people.
Wish I was on it when we lived in NE Ohio.
Missed out on meeting several Hbody people that lived near me at the time.

I have been disconnected for a while. I've checked in here and there. I got back to working on the Spyder. I come here for important info. People here know a lot about these cars. It's a great site. I have a lot of respect for all the guys on here. :D

Been a minute. And by minute, I mean lifetime.

No H-bodies for years. I’ve gone all Triumph motorcycles and Acura. Good to see a few familiar folks. Brings back fond memories of a different time.

I do still have that Stage 5 IECO 140. All the sexy parts. Love to move it during the Great Purge we’re all going through. I could almost park in my garage with it gone...

Tracy ..... I haven't worked on or touched my Vegas in a few years. Nothing to really update. So my infrequent check ins leave me somewhat disappointed each time seeing a general lack of participation here.

I cruise FB periodically for other groups (Rallycross, Miata, Jeep) and I occasionally see some basic, mundane, general H-body questions on there (max tire size, S10 balljoint, brakes, rear ends, springs, etc).
I always direct the posters here to see years and years of time-tested and proven answers.

Sadly, FB caters to the instantaneous reply searchers..... I've even seen and corrected many incorrect posts on there...... but the new folks prefer FB for instant gratification ... even if it is wrong. Lol.

I’ve tried getting on my wife’s Facebook account before and just from my point of view, this is what I see:

still here and still working on the IMSA .Old age is creeping up on me so things are going a lot slower now. Latest project- tor the engine and transmission back out to convert every thing to power steering specs and a electric power steering pump set up. with the electric water pump and front engine mounts it was much to hard to run a traditional power steering pump. wish I would have thought of this 10 years ago. 275/40/18'' are a real bear to turn with manual monza box so I found an aftermarket power steering box with a much faster ratio to cure that problem but removeing all the steering joints from the manual steering set up has been a real pita to say the least and fabricating a new lower steering shaft is not exactly easy either. beginning to understand what my brother said: your gonna make this a lifes work. your not going to live long enough to finish this if you don't get it in gear soon. :bang:
