TEMP GAUGE - wiring question

Postby 74_Vega_GT » Fri Jan 22, 2021 1:06 pm

~ There are three wires on the 74 GT gauge cluster temp gauge at the connector and it will plug in either way. The wire colors are pink, black(middle wire) and green. I am going to attempt to attach a pic of the backside of the gauge. Can someone look at their temp gauge and let me know which is the correct way to orient the connector?
Thanks in advance.

I have found the wiring on the schematic, however, it does not indicate left or right for the three wires, whether looking from the front or rear.

You can check out my fuel gauge post, temp gauge works exact same way ;-)

Nothing will burn up if you hook gauge up wrong
