90% of the time it works, so give it a try. If its one those factory clutchless posi's , it wont last long.( broke one with a 151 4 speed , had to be torched out , cross pin bolt broke, cross pin spun in the carrier and wedged in solid)
Just check your pattern on gears with white grease, you can use the shims from both rears to get the pattern right if need be, but it should be a drop in.
