What do you mean "Bad torque arm?" Does the bushing need to be replaced?

Torque arm bent ,twisted and tore prior to the mounting bracket at rear end. Have a stroked SBC in it guessing torque arm is designed for a 4cyl or 6 cyl engine. Looking for after market setup not sure on which is correct one to make this painless as possible.

there are no readily available torque arms for vega/monza. overkill race cars may have something - he caters somewhat to vega/monza crowd. https://www.facebook.com/OverkillRaceCarsLLC/

Not sure if bolts on mounting point were loose. Not wondering WHY it happened just wanting info on replacement parts. I have never had a vehicle with a torque arm setup . My last VEGA (pro street) was a 71 and was not like this.

There were several lengths of Torque arms, besides different arms for 6.5" & 7.5" rear axles. I may have a good spare depending on what your original is.

As for why it happened, it could have been loose hardware, but more likely a U-Joint failure causing the drive shaft to rotate freely and strike it.

Let me know if you are interested in a used torque arm
